Serger service and repair in the Oklahoma City metro.
Service needs vary for each machine, and if it’s experiencing any issues – but a typical basic service for a serger looks like:
Inspecting and making necessary adjustments to every aspect that makes your machine run including timing and clearances, smooth any burrs that have formed, oil/grease necessary points, check and balance tensions, check knife sharpness and timing, and clean inside and outside of machine.
We finish the service by serging on test fabric to ensure all functions work correctly, and your machine is ready to go for another year.
Serger
Sergers are an incredible work horse for the home sewer. A serger, also known as an overlock machine, combines three different functions into one – stitching a seam, trimming excess seam allowance and overcasting the edge of the fabric, creating strong and professional results.
Sergers and brands range from the number of threads used, to the types of stitches available. Some brands even combine an overlock machine and a cover-stitch machine allowing the best of both worlds.
We service a large variety of brands of sergers including Singer, Bernina, Juki, Brother, Elna, Janome, Pfaff and we are Baby Lock certified.
